select 0 for never expire

enter name enter email enter passkey as comment (these are all irrelevant, but useful for listing)

Enter a password that YOU WILL REMEMBER (change it later to a password you NEVER USE ELSEWHERE)

gpg --list-keys

get the GPGID of the key you just made

pass init <GPGID>
